Anna Korbut

Anna Korbut has a degree in Contemporary photography from the Poznań University of the Arts, Poland. She is a photographer and a visual artist working with the topic of nature, climate change and Anthropocene problems.

Anna started with classic landscape photography, and in 2021 wrote a diploma, "Anthropocene problems in society and contemporary photography» at Poznan Academy of Arts, Poland. After the diploma, she created the photo series, "Behind the glass" in glass houses. These photos engage people to think about natural protection, artificial environments and the problem that we can't save all the species on Earth just creating artificial environments for them.

Anna is a member of the Swiss Photo Club and of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers UAPF.

Anna Korbut's residency is part of the Shifting Places Programme "associated artists" supported by Artlink.
