ABout our program

At Kulturhaus Villa Sträuli we are committed to promoting culture of all disciplines and developing a high-quality program. Our cultural events are conceived as meeting places and creative laboratories where everyone can get involved. Here we talk about art and show it in all its different forms: from film, dance, music and performance to participatory practices. Art education is also an essential part of our program.

In our exhibition space we show contemporary and socially relevant art and present national as well as international productions.

The Saturday Matinée is a social meeting point and venue for musical events ranging from classical and modern to chanson and jazz.

The formats "Eat with the Artist" and "Meet the artist" a.o. create a bridge between the audience and the Artists in Residence. Inspiring conversations and new encounters together with our current residents are at the heart of these evenings.
