Yhomara Muñoz is a Bolivian architect and visual artist. In recent years, she has developed futuristic landscapes and compositions that fuse technology and pre-Hispanic elements through the use of tools such as 3D modeling, augmented reality and virtual reality, as well as manual techniques, to create immersive experiences that connect the ancestral with the contemporary.
Her work is based on sacred geometry and ancestral iconography, evoking fantasies and reflections on the future from cultural memory. She has exhibited her work in Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, United States and Ecuador.
A big focus of her practice is to continue integrating the ancestral and the contemporary, promoting reflections on identity and future through art.
